Crown Tree Services is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, email, phone or Facebook we may collect:
- name
- email address
- phone number
- the content of your message, including any address or job details you give us
- the date and time of the enquiry
If you hire us we may also keep quotes, job notes, invoices and photos of the work.
We do not collect payment card details through this website.
Why we use it
- To reply to quotes and enquiries ÔÇö because you asked us to, or because we have a legitimate interest in responding
- To carry out and invoice the work ÔÇö to perform our contract with you
- To keep records for tax, insurance and safety ÔÇö legal obligation and legitimate interests
- To publish a testimonial ÔÇö only with your agreement
We do not sell your details and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only where needed:
- Krystal Hosting Ltd, who host this website and email in the UK
- WebKraft Studios, the developer, if they need access to maintain the website or form
- Security and anti-spam tools used on the contact form
- Insurers, accountants or HMRC if required
- Police or regulators if the law requires it
If you contact us on Facebook, Meta also processes that conversation under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
This site does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or marketing cookies.
WordPress and the contact form may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies so the site and form work. We do not use a cookie banner because we do not set optional tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this page.
How long we keep it
- Quote enquiries that do not become a job: up to 24 months
- Customer, job and invoice records: at least 6 years
- Testimonials: until you ask us to remove them
Spam and abusive submissions may be deleted sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to restrict or object to certain uses. Email hello@crowntreesnorfolk.co.uk. We may need to confirm it is you.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do.
